Booker T & the MG’s :: Green Onions

I have often said that I think this could be the grooviest thing ever written, but over the weekend I performed a tid-bit of this song and Vinnie 1-up’ed my interest in this song by saying something along the lines of:

“Imagine being the bartender in the club where this song was played for the first time. A smokey, dimly lit little little place with a tiny stage at the front, and they start this tune and everyone just kind of stopped what they’re doing and stares, just not knowing what to do.” Now every time i hear it that scene is going to play in my mind, and i’m ok with that. 

Vin if u need an idea for a sweet little short to film, that scene would be a good one.
