Brian Eno & David Byrne :: Strange Overtones

Just listening to their record Everything That Happens Will Happen Today for the first time. It’s good to hear from this pair again! I’ve been following David Byrne’s post talking heads career pretty closely, and the feel of this album has an evident and strong modern presence while, in my opinion, having the strongest ties to the old days of anything he’s released. I may not be the best critic because i’m a biased talking heads fan, but i am really excited about this record!

This particular tune just made my morning! The whole vibe of it and this album have me more excited about going home and writing music than i have been in a long time!
